Italy Bike Tours for Solo Travellers, Couples, Friends and Families
ALL OF OUR TOURS ARE INCLUSIVE OF solo travellers, couples, friends and families.
Whether you’re a solo traveller, a couple, a pair or group of friends, or a family looking to enjoy a cycling tour or an active adventure of Italy, our exclusive small group Italian Cycling Tours and Italy Adventure Tours have you covered.
Solo Travellers

We’ve been welcoming Solo Travellers across all of our Tours since we started running tours in 2015.
Whether it’s on the bike for one of our classic cycling tours, off the bike as a hiker on our Dolomites hiking tour, or to join us an active adventurer on our Sardinia or Cilento adventure tours, our small group tour experiences with a maximum of 14 guests make the experience an inclusive one for all of our guests, including solo travellers.
Solo travellers have the option to enjoy their own room at a single occupancy rate or to share a room with another likeminded solo traveller at our twin-share rate. Enquire when booking.

The best experience – ever! Nancy and Damian from A’qto Cycling Tours are lovely people. Nothing was less than perfect on the recent 2023 Giro D’Italia tour. An excellent group of people, bikes were great, the riding was amazing, the food and wine better, and the scenery breathtaking. I loved every minute of it and will return for another A’qto Cycling tour, for sure.

Being on an A’qto tour with Damian and Nancy is like going on holiday with your best friends, family and their friends.
With Damian and Nancy as hosts, everything is taken care of… stunning accommodation, incredible local food and wine experiences.
At the end of the Piedmont tour you are left with a sense of achievement having pushed yourself on Damian’s challenging rides (always fully supported. Thankyou so much again Sergio and Silvia) through captivating countryside on quiet country roads, and your cup refilled with a whole new circle of like minded friends, who you have bonded with each evening over aperitivo in diverse settings, could be the piazza, could be the courtyard of an old but beautifully restored convent before moving onto dinner often with a stunning view or backdrop and always showcasing local produce, dishes and cooking techniques.
Nancy’s generosity of time, offered friendship, explanation and guidance through a range of activities unique to the region are a joy for the non riding partners.
Piedmont and Tour de France tour is our third with A’qto…..where to next?

I could not speak highly enough about A’qto. Damian and Nancy are just very real people that are so genuinely in love with Italy and want to show us the very best it has to offer. The cycling was superb and the support crew were the nicest guys, I think they made my cycling experience all the better. The food and accommodation was 5 Star. Damian and Nancy’s local knowledge was so impressive, I feel like I am going home knowing the important fundamentals that make Italy and its people so amazing. I really think we could all learn something pretty special to bring home. Italy’s sense of community and kindness should be something we all practice.
Thank you for making our group experience so special.
