On climbs everyone has to go at their pace and this is well facilitated by Damian and the guides, the regroup points allowed you to extend yourself while not leaving anyone behind.
Riding those long passes is a different experience to what you can get in Aus. Your riding experience is not complete without an Italian riding holiday.

The Aqto team provided an exceptionally planned cycling holiday tour that exceeded my expectations. Nancy and Damian provided a well considered tour with great attention to detail on road and off the bike, installed with local knowledge to ensure the tour achieved its objectives.
I was really impressed with the way the Aqto team always consulted the participants to ensure everyone was comfortable with what was being planned on a day-to-day basis. I have no hesitation in touring again with Aqto. Now for Tuscany!

high expectations and the experience exceeded them all
I booked this trip for my 40th with high expectations and the experience exceeded them all.
The riding was incredible with challenging climbs and hairpin laden descents ribboning down the mountains for days. The stuff cyclists dreams are made of really.
Everyone climbed at their own pace with set regroup points and support riders front and rear which is the right way to sustain your rhythm. The local guides were excellent and following their wheels and lines improved my riding, particularly descending. Climbing the wall of Sormano was one among many highlights, a personal challenge that stretched me to the absolute limit, but got it done, very satisfying.
The ride scenery is like something out of a movie, waterfalls streaming down green and white capped cliffs with the raw power of nature willing you on at every turn.
The food and wine was excellent, bringing each regions specialities to life in locations you would probably never find yourself. Everything was generous and you felt like a local in the know enjoying a premium experience every night.
The accommodation was boutique and central and there was always enough time after rides to enjoy the local villages stock up on nutrition, gift shop etc.
A little bonus was meeting Julian Alaphilippe atop Passo Pordoi with Soudal teammate snapping a selfie and wishing him luck for the Olympics! WOW!
To cap off this dream experience I flew straight into France post tour for the last 3 stages of the TDF, which were crazy good.
Chapeau and Thank you Damian and Nancy for creating an experience that will be long be etched into my memory…until I return again!

ENTHUSIASM, PROFESSIONALISM AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL
We were very excited about our trip to the Dolomites and Prosecco Road with A’qto in July, 2019. We had high expectations, but with Nancy and Damien’s enthusiasm, professionalism and attention to detail the whole journey far exceeded those and made the trip truly memorable. Mauro and Andre, our local guides added to our feeling of being cared for. It was the total Italian experience – cultural, gastronomic and the cycling and hiking mountain way of life. They catered perfectly to the various idiosyncrasies within the group and if an issue arose or something had to be quickly changed due to unforeseen circumstances they found the solution calmly and promptly.
We would highly recommend A’qto to anyone contemplating a cycling tour to Italy, and especially those with a non-cycling partner who normally wouldn’t be included in such an adventure. Our best wishes to Nancy and Damien and their team for the continuing success of A’qto Cycling.

A TRULY MEMORABLE WEEK
Thank you to Damian, Nancy, Mauro and Andrea for a truly memorable week through the Dolomites and the Prosecco region. Not just a cycling trip but more of an immersion into Italian culture, food and way of life. The cycling was tough but thoroughly worth the effort when you reach the top of the mountain passes.
